My Lovely Albuquerque Hotel with Indoor Pool
After the fantastic week I spent with my wife in Scottsdale just a few days ago, I really didn’t expect to be so blown away by my Albuquerque hotel with indoor pool. This time of year in New Mexico is so amazing. Isn’t this called the Enchanted State, or something connoting a magical existence?
With high temperatures in the mid 50 degrees Fahrenheit I knew coming into this trip that I was probably not going to be worrying much about swimming. And the forecast, every night calls for the temperature to drop just below freezing, so I was definitely not going to worry about getting my fitness routine in the pool.
Not really sure why or how I missed it, but when I booked the hotel for the week it just slipped by that I was staying at an Albuquerque hotel with indoor pool as well as a complete fitness center.
Oh, and if you look carefully at the little pic I grabbed, there is also a hot tub. And all of it indoors. FTW! Now I can make my sales calls during the day, come back to the hotel and really work myself hard. Finishing up with some cardio swimming is great because I’m don’t have a pool at home so I’ll be able to work muscles just a bit differently than normal.
But the hot tub is just icing on the cake. I actually have a small spa at home, just fits two, my wife and I usually. I know she works it out to its maximum when I’m on the road after her long days watching after our children.
So, just here in Albuquerque until Friday, and you can bet I’m taking advantage of the amazing facilities. When I have the chance to do things out of season that I normally have to wait months for, I tend to jump at the opportunity.
I believe I’m heading to Tennessee on Friday. I should probably check out the amenities I’ll have there as I’m totally drawing a blank right now.
